    Feature Toggle

    What is a Feature Toggle?

A feature toggle (also called feature switch, -flipper of -flag) is a mechanism that is used to hide, enable or disable certain features during runtime. It attempts to provide an alternative to maintaining multiple source-code branches so that a feature can be tested even before it is completed and ready for release.
